The Temple Band is an all volunteer, non-profit community band whose members
range in age from 10 to 85 and live in southern NH and northern MA. There
are no dues, fees or auditions required, however two years experience on
your concert band instrument is requested. All concert band instruments are
welcome.
The Band meets for weekly rehearsals on Monday night from 7 - 9 pm from
October to May. Our performance venue includes a winter holiday concert and
about 15 summer events scheduled throughout New England. Yankee Magazine
featured The Temple Band as one of "25 People to Meet in New England" in
2008.
Rehearsals will be held in Friendship Hall, next to the Town Hall, located
on Route 45 south off Route 101 in the center of Temple, NH. Rehearsals will
reconvene in the Town Hall once Town Hall renovations are complete.

The Temple Band is an all-volunteer, non-profit, traditional town band first established in 1799. Our music consists of something for everyone, including marches, show tunes, Dixieland, jazz, novelty pieces, the classics, original compositions, etc. We can be identified by our tri-corner hats and colonial style red, white and blue shirts, sashes and knickers.
